Deleting Old Programs: How to Reclaim Your Energy

Your energy level: an invisible treasure. Imagine your energy level is at 100%. You are well nourished, healthy, emotionally balanced. Your body feels powerful, your mind is clear, your heart is open and free of fear. From this state you are in your full presence, and this is exactly where our journey begins.

When attention is energy

Every time you direct your attention to another person, part of your energy flows there. That is natural and no problem as long as your own energy barrel is well filled. But the more people claim your attention at the same time, the more your strength leaves your own centre.

  • A nice colleague? Hardly noticeable.
  • A family member with many worries? Already clearly noticeable.
  • And then perhaps someone who meets you with mistrust, rejection or even bullying? That can weaken you massively in a short time.

The invisible loss of energy

Often this drain of energy happens even when these people are no longer physically with you. Their words, their looks, their problems live on in your head, like open files on a computer. So we carry the moods, expectations and conflicts of others around with us long after the actual encounter is over.

Psychologically speaking, these are mental loops, fed by emotions, old experiences and self-images. Spiritually speaking, it is a loss of presence: energy flows where we remain attached with thoughts and feelings.

The “control panel” of your mind

Imagine your inner world is like the control panel of a computer. Programs run there, some consciously, some in the background without you noticing. Perhaps you find a program there that blinks in big letters: “I’m not good enough.” Or a background service that whispers to you: “It’s arrogant to find myself valuable.”

The question is: does this program still serve you? If not, you are allowed to uninstall it, like any superfluous software.

Installing something new: self-worth, clarity, love

Onto the freed-up storage space you can consciously load something new. A program that nourishes and strengthens you, for example:

  • I am valuable.
  • I am worthy of being loved.
  • My life is unique and precious.

Don’t just speak these sentences in your head, let them arrive in your whole body. Feel how a gentle, warm, respectful feeling spreads. That is not an ego trick and not arrogance. It is healthy self-care, the foundation of all giving.

Why this is not an ego trip

True self-love doesn’t separate you from others, it connects you more deeply. From a filled inner reservoir arises a surplus that you can share without exhausting yourself. This surplus nourishes your relationships, your work and your creativity. Without it you slide into deficit, and in the long run physical, emotional and mental symptoms of exhaustion appear.

Training for a new default program

So that this new inner attitude doesn’t remain just a beautiful moment but becomes your default program, it needs practice:

  1. Pause several times a day: where is my attention right now?
  2. Notice: what is my energy level?
  3. Lovingly say goodbye to the old, consciously anchor the new.

It is not about suppressing unpleasant feelings but understanding them as a hint: here I am not yet fully with myself.

Conclusion: your daily reset

Old programs that weaken you may go. New ones that strengthen you may grow. Just as a computer runs faster by closing unnecessary windows, you too gain clarity, strength and inner calm when you consciously steer your mental processes.

This is not a one-off process but a daily reset: a conscious decision for yourself, for your energy, for your life.
